Illinois Conceal Carry Law Status

I have had numerous questions about if and when I will be conducting CCW Training.  Several items are still unanswered.
(a- We do not know, definitely, if the NRA Basic Pistol Course will be accepted as part of the 16 hrs. of training.
(b- If it is, the additional 8 hrs, will have to cover live fire as well as what may not have been covered in the Basic Course, if anything.
(c- While it states in the new bill that firearms instructors may be accepted from other entities, they have not definately stated that NRA Basic Pistol Instructors will be accepted.
(d-  There are many unanswered questions with this new bill.  Additionally, the Federal 7th Circuit Court of Appeals granted the State a 30 day stay, moving the date to +July 9, 2013.

The Department of State Police has 180 days in which to create the forms and put in place all of the procedures to apply for a Concealed Carry permit.  Then they have 60 days in which to either grant or deny your permit.  We will not have any Concealed Carry permits issued until 2014.
